Birthdays And The Trickster
By T. R. Gardner

The car park was deserted. The clouds rumbled ominously as
Susan reached her car with the package that Debbie had ordered for
Harrison's birthday. She was so proud that she had Norton pick it out
and paid for it out of her allowance.

Debbie enters the library to find Ironhorse reading and Harrison
going through the books on the shelf.  She smiled as she again
noticed the same looks that Mom and Norton exchange are being
exchanged by Paul and Harrison.  This'll be fun.  She thinks as
Debbie watched Colonel Ironhorse as he pretended to read a
novel. She saw the quick glances he would give Harrison when he
crossed the room. MEN. Debbie thought.

Ironhorse glanced up to see Debbie watching him. His eyes quickly
drop back to the page he had read three times already. God, I hope
Debbie didn't realize that I was watching Har.. NO, Blackwood! He
has to be Blackwood. I yearn for Harrison but not `Dr. Blackwood'.
He smells Harrison's musky scent as he walked by. Stop it or you'll
drive yourself crazy. Paul chastises himself as he shifts in the
chair and lay the book over his awaking crotch. He glances up and
catches Debbie's eyes. He also notices the smirk on her face. Paul
feels a blush crawl up his neck and face. He thanks the Spirits for
his Native American coloring that unlike Harrison's which is pale and
would turn him rosy. Paul lets his head rest on the back of the
chair as he attempts to will away his erection. But all he can think
of is how much he wants to taste Harrison's skin, run his hands over
his lightly furred chest. Longing to kiss those full luscious lips.
Ironhorse again squirms in his chair.

Harrison glances at Ironhorse with his head back exposing his long
elegant neck begging to be kissed. His eyes closed and his face
relaxed with a faint smile. His breathing had began to quickened.
He was beginning to move fitfully in his chair. He must be having a
nightmare. Harrison thinks he moves behind Paul and reaches out to
sooth the colonel with a gentle touch to his hair.

Ironhorse had felt someone standing behind him. He breathed deeply.
Oh, Harrison. He thought when he was startled by the lightest touch
to his hair. Paul jumps and the book falls from his lap.

Harrison jumped back at Paul's response but as he looks down Paul's
long lean body he sees that Paul was getting hard. Umm. No not a
nightmare. Harrison thinks as he smiles at Paul. "Sorry Colonel, I
didn't mean to bump your chair." Harrison says as he blushes.

Paul watches the blush turn Harrison's skin rosy. He stands and
heads for the door with his back to Debbie. Paul says, "No problem."

Harrison glanced at Debbie, who wore a faint smile and a twinkle in
her eye. He decided to slink off to his office.

Debbie smiled as she though, they are just too cute. Debbie's plan
was moving along smoothly. Now it was up to Norton.

Paul paced his office trying to wear off his growing desire for
Harrison. He knew that his desire for the quirky blond scientist was
growing. I need to get a grip. Paul thought. Well actually that's
not a bad idea as he sits at his desk, he slowly and carefully he
unzips his pants. He leans back as he rubs his plump cock head
gathering his pre-cum for lubrication. As he begins to slowly pump
his cock, he recalls his favorite fantasy and he groans. "Oh Yeah." A
picture forms Harrison came into the room. He watches Paul hungrily
as he slowly undresses. Standing naked and proud, Harrison cleared
his throat, "Can I give you a hand, Colonel?"

Paul's eyes lock on Harrison's passion darkened ones.

In his mind... Harrison walks up to Paul, pushes his chair back and
knelt down as he removes Paul's hand. He kisses Paul's cock and
     licking down the
throbbing vein then gave his full scrotum a kiss before licking up
the underside of Paul's tower of throbbing flesh. Slowly he circles
the head dipping his tongue into the slit before swallowing his hot
     hard cock.

Paul groaned deeply as the hot moist tunnel sucked strongly while
Harrison's head bobs up and down in a tempo guaranteed to bring
     release.

Paul cards his fingers through Harrison's silky curly blond hair in
     encouragement.

Harrison begins to squeeze Paul's balls rhythmically as he hums
making his throat caress Paul's cock.

Paul's grip tightens holding Harrison's head while his hips bounced
up into the warm tunnel of Harrison's throat. He was so close. As
Harrison scratches Paul's dark tunnel entrance, he cums calling out
Harrison. Opening his eyes he watches the last spurts spilling over
his rapidly flying hand. Sighing Paul wiped his hand and headed to
the bathroom to clean up, if only if would really happen.  Paul muses.

Susan was really curious about the gift Debbie had bought. As
soon as she had brought it in, Debbie had ran upstairs to wrap it
without giving her a hint of what it was. Susan listened to the wind
as it drove the rain to pinging into the windows. Although it was
only three in the afternoon, it looked like it was dusk. The wind
screamed through the treetops and eves eerily, almost a portent of
upheaval or a disaster in the making.

The telephone rang and an unexpected feeling of dread filled
Susan as she picked up the handset. "Hello." Susan said cautiously.

"Susan, it's Norton. The van broke down in town. Can you come and
get me? I think the transmission may have given out." Norton's
voice floated over her nerves like a soothing balm.

"What about the storm?" Susan asked.

"It's not really bad yet. The main part of the storm is still miles
off?" Norton says before adding, "please."

"Okay, baby. I'm on my way." Susan sighs. She gets her coat as
Debbie comes down the stairs carrying Harrison's gift all wrapped in
pastel paper with a large silky bow.

"Where are you going, mom?" Debbie asked.

"Norton called. His van broke down." Susan says.

"Can I come?" Debbie asks innocently.

"Sure, I wasn't looking forward to driving by myself." Susan says
with a smile. "Harrison, Debbie and I are going into town." Susan
     calls out.

"Be careful. The main part of the storm is a couple of hours out but
the wind is blowing hard." Harrison yells back.

"I will." Susan calls back rolling her eyes. "Men." She says to
     Debbie.

     "Yeah, men." Debbie laughs.

Paul and Harrison stayed in their respective offices completing
     a backlog of paperwork.

A knock interrupted Paul, Mrs. Pennyworth enters dressed in her coat
says, "Colonel, Mr. Pennyworth is here to take me home. The storm is
worsening. Dinner is in the oven. See you, Monday." She says as
     she puts her gloves on.

"Good night, Alma." Paul says adding, "Have a good weekend." After
she leaves he settles back to doing his paperwork.

Harrison is thirsty as he made his way to the kitchen the phone
     rings. "Hello." He says.

"Harrison, It's Susan. The storm has worsened so Norton, Debbie and
I are going to stay in town. The river was rising when we crossed it
tonight. I'm sorry we'll miss your birthday dinner. Your gift from
Norton and me is on the side table in the dining room and Debbie's is
on the table in the foyer. Happy Birthday, Harrison. May it bring
you everything you want. See.." Susan's voice stops.

Harrison jiggles the reset button then listens for a dial tone. The
phone lines must be down. He thinks. Glancing at his watch he
realizes it later he thought. The lights go out as Harrison hears
Paul open his office door. "Colonel, the phone lines and power lines
     are down." Harrison smiles.

Paul retreats into his office only to return carrying his
flashlight. He checks the fuse box and all the fuses are fine. He
goes downstairs and the Cray was up and running. The secondary
generator had kicked in and kept the monster computer running.

"Colonel is everything alright?" Harrison asks.

"Everything is locked down and secure." Paul says. "Mrs. Pennyworth
left dinner in the oven." Paul says as he grabs a radio.

Harrison had lit several candles and placed them around the dining
room and was busy carrying the fried chicken, sweet potato casserole,
asparagus tips and fresh warm bread to the table. Harrison's
     birthday cake was the centerpiece.

Paul turns on the radio and they both listen, "..A Sever Thunderstorm
Warning for the KFOX listening area. Torrential rains have
washed out numerous bridges and roadways. High Wind Warnings remain
in effect as the winds topping at 60 mph has downed phone and power
lines. A spokesman for the electric company made a statement moments
ago that outlying areas may be without power for at least 48 hours.
A spokesman for the Public Service Department request that people
stay in their homes as the wind is making travel hazardous due to
downed lines and flying debris. If you're inside stay there. This
storm has stalled and is expected to remain for the next 24 to 36
hours as the storm continues to build in its intensity. Please Stay
tuned to KFOX for any storm updates. We are now returning to our
     normal programming.

"Sounds like I had better fire up the compound's backup generator."
Paul says as he shoulders into his coat.

Harrison watched Paul leave through the kitchen door. My God. The
candlelight highlighted Paul's beauty. I wish the generator would
fail as Harrison finished the thought the lights came back on.

Paul enters to find Harrison blowing out all but two of the
candles on the table. "It looks wonderful. Mrs. Pennyworth outdid
herself. Happy Birthday, Harrison." Paul says.

     "Thank you." Harrison says.

As the two men eat, they listen to the music on the radio.

"Before you cut the cake, I need to run upstairs to get your
gift." Paul says as he leaves. A few moments later he returns
carrying a package in pastel paper.

Harrison quirks an eyebrow and smirks.

"It's from Debbie. This is from me." Paul holds up a small package
in black and gold paper. "Happy Birthday, Harrison."

Harrison opens Paul's gift first. "Paul, you shouldn't have. I love
it. Where did you find an autographed first edition Frost. I'm
     touched."

Paul smiles shyly then urges Harrison to open the other gifts. Happy
with the knowledge that his gift had gotten a smile from Harrison.

"From Susan and Norton." Harrison says as he opens the box and finds
a black leather jacket. "Wow." Is all that Harrison can say as he
     tries on the jacket.

"It looks good on you." Paul says as he thinks, and sexy too.

Pulling the pastel box towards him Harrison opens it and carefully
pulls out a fertility totem. There's a Lakota myth here. Can you
     translate it, Paul?"

"We were taught several diffrent languages when I went to school on
the rez."  Paul says as he squints at the note.

"The Tale Of Tetashera, The Shield Brothers." Paul reads.

The Nation called forth all the bravest and strongest among them
to meet. "Brother Moon tells us that The Trickster has kidnapped
Sister Sun and if she isn't returned the world will remain in
darkness forever." The Chief recites. He knew each of these young
braves. He calls Two Feather and White Buffalo Guide to his
side. "I give you two gifts to use against The Trickster. Here is a
magic rope and here is a magic shield. Go forth and return Sister
Sun." The Chief then sent the strongest and the bravest on their
     journey.

They traveled for many hours and finally found The Trickster.

"We demand you give us Sister Sun." Two Feathers ordered.

The Trickster smiled and said, "That which is two shall become one.
     Together to stay as one."

White Buffalo Guide says, "What nonsense is this. Release Sister
     Sun."

"Look at Two Feathers, White Buffalo Guide. See him for who he
     is." The Trickster crowed.

A look of gentle love showed on White Buffalo Guide's face. He leans
in to kiss Two Feather's lips, as The Trickster laughed and danced
     around them.

They lost track of time and awoke to find the spell stronger as
The Trickster had said two parts combined into one. They moved with
     purpose and bravery.

Two Feathers fell from the hilltop.

White Buffalo Guide keened for his lost soul brother.

The Trickster came to him to gloat. "You have lost your strength and
     your bravery."

Suddenly a rope fell over him and held him fast. For you see there
was a hidden ledge under the cliff top and Two Feathers had tossed
the rope to catch The trickster.

The Trickster growled as he drew a small fire ball from his multi-
colored coat. As it began to grow he threw it at White Buffalo
Guide, who at the last second, used the shield to hit the glowing
     ball into the heavens.

Sister Sun had returned to her home.

Sullenly The Trickster demanded, "How did you escape my spell?" He
demanded as he stomped his feet.

"We didn't but we have always been of the same soul. Two halves of
the whole. You just made it easier for us. We have been shield
brothers, lovers and fighters. You just focused our strength." Two
Feathers says as he gazes longingly into his lovers eyes.

Dragging The Trickster back to the heart of the Nation for
punishment. The two braves shared one heart and one soul.

Two Feathers, Paul Ironhorse and White Buffalo Guide, Harrison
Blackwood, live long and grow stronger the time has come for the
strength of the shield brothers to be reclaimed. Enjoy the weekend.
Norton and I will keep mom busy.  We have planned to take her out for
supper and I'll be staying with Jennifer and The General.  Mom and
Norton need some quality time. Enjoy what has been given you.
     Happy Birthday.
     Much love Debbie

P.S. Yes they are doing what you think they are.
     Have Fun, Norton.

The one brave was sitting and the other brave's head was buried
     in his crotch.

Paul reached over and takes Harrison's face in his hands as he kisses
Harrison. "I have loved you from the time I met you." Paul says
     breathlessly.

"I love you, too." Harrison groaned as they kissed again. This kiss
was deeper and demanding. "Paul?" Harrison says breathlessly.

     "What Harrison?" Paul asks.

"Birthday cake is good for breakfast, you know." Harrison whispers
as he gazed heatedly at Paul.

Paul looked confused for a second then he flashed Harrison a devilish
smile. "I believe you're right. Happy Birthday." Paul says as he
stands and leads Harrison upstairs after blowing out the candles.
Paul leads Harrison to his bedroom and quickly begins to unbutton his
     shirt.

Harrison stops him as he says, "I want to unwrap my own
birthday present." He kisses Paul deeply then as each button opens
Harrison tastes the exposed skin. He glanced up from the last button
to see Paul's head thrown back with his eyes closed. "You're so
     beautiful." Harrison groans.

Paul pulls Harrison into a devouring kiss.

"Wow." Is all Harrison has the strength to say as his eyes cloud
     with desire.

Paul begins unbuttoning Harrison's shirt as he nibbles on
Harrison's neck. He softly bites Harrison's neck marking him as his
own. Stepping back he almost loses control at the sight before him.
Harrison's kiss swollen lips. Harrison wearing his mark for all to
see. His shirt opened with one side pulled out of his pants and a
     straining bulge. "My disheveled Angle."

Harrison opens his eyes to glare at Paul but his words die
unuttered. His eyes lock on Paul's hands as he carefully opens his
     jeans.

Paul grabs his jeans and lowers them with his briefs. He wiggles and
shimmies once his cock pops out.

Harrison had his jeans at half mast and quickly jumps out of them.

As they met, Paul marveled at the erotic feeling of skin on skin.
Harrison's hairy chest touching his hairless one almost overwhelmed
     his control.

Harrison maneuvered them towards the bed and the gentle pushed
Paul. Sending him sprawling on the hunter green comforter. As Paul
slides to the center of the bed, Harrison's eyes take on a feral
gleam. "Happy Birthday to me." Harrison says huskily as he advances
on all fours up the bed like a stalking lion. "God Paul, you are so
beautiful." Harrison whispers. He chuckles moments later as he
watches a slight flush brush Paul's face.

"Harrison touch me, please." Paul groans as his cock begins to jerk
in time to his pounding heart.

Harrison gentle lays on top of Paul, ever mindful of his slighter
form. His lips and tongue work to plunder Paul's responsive mouth.
Harrison's tongue fighting for dominance. He growls as Paul licks at
the soft plate in the roof of his mouth.

Never one for being passive Paul begins to rock against Harrison's
hot hard body Their cocks brush sensuously together. "Harder."
     Paul shouts.

Harrison chuckles as he sets a slow pace which quickly builds as he
rubs against his lover. "So close." Harrison wails.

Paul felt his desire spinning out of control and he bites down on
Harrison's exposed shoulder. Paul arches and groans out Harrison's
name as he sprays his love load against Harrison's abdomen.

Harrison cums almost simultaneously, as Paul's love bite sending him
     over the edge.

"Paul, my love, my shield brother, I have loved you from the
moment we met." Harrison sighs contentedly.

"My love for you began then as well. I guess we didn't fool anyone
but ourselves, my Tetashera." Paul hugs Harrison then turns Harrison
     on his side.

"Where are you going?" Harrison asks instantly in fear.

     "I don't like crusty, sticky. I'm getting a washcloth then I thought
we could share the bed for the night." Paul says with a huge smile.

     The End.
